Obituary for Mark Alan Lease

Cumberland, MD – Mark Alan Lease, 55, of Cumberland, MD, formerly of Ellerslie, MD, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center surrounded by loving family and friends. 

Born November 11, 1963, in Cumberland, MD, Mark is survived by his mother: Patty Lease-Fleegle and husband, Wayne, Corriganville, MD; and the late Leo M. Lease, Sr.  

A graduate of Mount Savage High School, class of 1981, Mark was the Property Manager at Ames Plaza. He previously worked for Ron Shaffer Construction and Steve Leydig, Sr.  Mark was a member of the Ellerslie United Methodist Church.  He was very gifted with working with his hands and generous in using his skills.  Mark would help anyone. 

Besides his mother and stepfather, Mark is survived by his children: Alec Jordan Lease and Bethanie Ann Lease. He also leaves behind his siblings: Leo Lease, Jr., and wife, Connie; Doug Lease; Tammy Lehmann and husband, Rob; and Clint Lease; his stepbrothers: Mark and Mike Fleegle; his stepsister: Kimberly Scritchfield and husband, Ron; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. 

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Friday, November 30, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Barrelville Presbyterian Church, Post Office Box #194, Corriganville, MD 21524, c/o: Doris Ann Bittner.
