Obituary for Leonard Lee Miller

Cumberland, MD – Leonard Lee Miller, 80, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Frostburg Village Nursing Home. 

Born August 30, 1937, in Cumberland, MD, Mr. Miller was the son of the late Conda Miller and Iris (Park) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his second wife: Delores A. Miller, September 14, 2014; a daughter-in-law: Ruth Wright-Sullivan; a grandson: William High: and a stepson: Joe Sullivan. 

A United States Air Force Veteran, Leonard retired from ABEX Manufacturing. He was a member of the Mount Hermon United Methodist Church.  Leonard loved the outdoors and the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

Leonard is survived by his children: David L. Miller, Gaithersburg, MD; Daniel Miller and wife, Amber, Fort Ashby, WV; Debbie High and husband, Wally, Lonaconing, MD; and Darren Miller and wife, Terri, Oldtown, MD; and his stepsons: Larry Sullivan, Cumberland, MD; Skip Sullivan and wife, Linda, Mount Savage, MD: and Rick Sullivan and wife, Diane, Charlotte, NC.  He also leaves behind his stepdaughter-in-law: Dee Sullivan: as well as nine grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. 

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. 

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Fred Iser officiating. 

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. 

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post #13 Veterans Honor Guard.
